Council move to one single CRM system - Captavia
Nottinghamshire
County Council (NCC) will boost the effectiveness of its
economic development business support teams with the
implementation of a specialist CRM product from Initiative
Software.
Following an
independent business review of NCC's various CRM systems
it became clear that a single CRM system was required to
support the effective operation of the economic
development business support teams. The review
highlighted that the business support teams were working
with a CRM system that was dated, wasn't comprehensive
enough to cover all aspects of business delivery and
resulted in the teams working either in isolation of each
other and in some case not using the system at all.
NCC embarked on a
formal review process in which it reviewed and ranked,
three available solutions that would improve the way the
economic development business support teams operated.
Captavia met all the detailed functionality requirements
and, backed with the company's track record in economic
development CRM implementations, the decision was made to
select Captavia.
Ken Aldred,
Nottinghamshire County Council Business Support Manager,
comments, "The implementation of Captavia
has been smooth and delivered on time. We should now
start to see the benefits of Captavia with consistency across teams, simplified and consistent
data recording and therefore more efficient teams due to
the increase in knowledge within the council of our
customers. We know our customers better and can therefore
better service their needs. This is exactly what
successful CRM Implementation is about."
"We are delighted
that Captavia has been
recognised as a solution that will assist the council's
economic development support teams to operate more
effectively," states Kevin Clark, CEO Inisoft
Ltd. "NCC is a council that knows exactly how it wishes
to service its customer base and Captavia will support these objectives. Captavia has been designed
to maximise user adoption rates by being simple to use as
well as providing powerful information for monitoring and
reporting on activities."
