Enlarged Business Link goes live with leading CRM
Solution
Business Link
Leicestershire and Business Link Lincolnshire & Rutland
have had a very close working relationship during 2003 to
optimise the delivery of their business development
services across their existing counties. To support their
combined efforts in effectively meeting their objectives,
an independent review was conducted on the requirements of
a centralised CRM system. This concluded that neither of
the systems used within the Business Links at the time
could fully satisfy the broad range of current and
anticipated requirements of their businesses so a new
system was necessary.
Captavia, the
new CRM system from Inisoft, was awarded the
contract for the two Business Links. Captavia builds on
the success of Inisoft's LinkTrack
system but delivers enhanced processing capabilities.
Captavia also provides a graphical user interface with the
capability to define and modify users screens and as well
as workflow processes at multiple levels within the
organisation. After a short rollout process, requiring
very little end user training, the new Business Link is
now fully operational with Captavia as its CRM system.
Nick Walker, IS Manager, states "The comprehensive
business rules engine and the capabilities of the workflow
designer were key in our decision to select Captavia as
the single CRM system. Captavia has been well received at
both sites, the ease of use of the system has been
fundamental to user adoption. One particular Adviser went
out of his way to point out that he managed to complete 6
reports in the time it normally takes him to complete a
single report. This is a product that truly enhances the
way we deliver our services."
"The project
team drawn from both Business Links identified an exacting
specification for system functionality and usability. We
were delighted to be selected to deliver the solution and
Captavia has delivered considerable benefits in a
relatively short timescale", comments Kevin Clark CEO of
Inisoft. "It was imperative that both Business
Links be able to continue to deliver very high quality of
services as they moved towards joint operations and
Captavia was able to support this."
